ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

The Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of free communication abstracts for consideration for presentation at the 21st Regional Conference of Dermatology 2014 (Asian – Australian) incorporating the 6th Annual Meeting of the Asian Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.

Abstract must be submitted along with the Conference Registration Fees by 30th November 2013.

Free Communications Abstracts could be in the form of Oral or Poster.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

• All abstracts must be submitted via this website
• Abstracts are to be submitted in English only
• Conference registration with FULL payment is compulsory for presenting authors prior to the acceptance of the
  abstracts. Failure to register to the conference will results in automatic cancellation of the abstracts submitted
• Scheduling details and guidelines for the final preparation of accepted presentations will be included with the
  notification of acceptance
• The final selection will be the responsibility of the Scientific Committee.
• All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.

• A statement of the objectives of the study
• A description of the methods used
• A summary of the results obtained
• A statement of the conclusions reached.

• All abstracts must be submitted via our online abstract submission system.
• Abstracts must not be more than 300 words (inclusive of title and author(s) name).
• Formatting of the abstract should follow the guidelines in the Abstract Template.
• Author(s) name(s) and institution(s). Do not include degrees or professional titiles. A maximum of four (4) authors can be listed.
• Graphs, tables and illustrations cannot be included in the abstract.
• It is the sole responsibility of the authors to review the submission and avoid any typing error on the abstract.
• No changes in text are permitted after submission. Updates should be made at the time of presentation.
• Abstracts should be submitted using the Abstract Template provided. More details in instructions below.
• Abstracts should be saved in Word document format (*.doc) and may not exceed 1mb in filesize. We will be unable to accept the docx format.
